Who makes up the Messengers?

Who we are and what we stand for

Audiences can expect a time of enrichment and laughter, high-energy singing, and encouraging and uplifting praise and worship songs. Audiences will find themselves smiling, laughing, crying, encouraged and uplifted. Most of all, will have the Gospel Message presented to them in a powerful, compelling manner. We would appreciate the opportunity to come and minister to your church family. Our engaging personalities and our friendship bond will be experienced by all. We ask and appreciate a love offering that justifies our effort in ministry and ability to continue “Going forth”. Our hope is many will receive Christ as their Lord and Savior and many have their walk enriched. Samples of our music ministry videos are on Facebook and YouTube under Messengers.

Blair White

Blair started his musical journey at a young age while growing up at Highway Tabernacle Assembly of God church in Youngstown, Ohio.

He would find his way to the front row during the song service just to watch the piano player move his fingers up and down the keyboard.

His parents decided to start him on accordion lessons at the age of 8 followed by the organ and piano. Those music lessons would become a lifelong gift and passion.

Blair had his path set on being a part of a major touring rock and roll band until Jesus came into his heart and changed all that. Since that time he has been involved in the music ministry in several area churches. He has traveled extensively for The Lord through the 70’s and 80’s with national gospel recording artist, Jeff Pasky.

He has written more than 400 songs over the past years while studying arranging, music production and technique under Sam D’Angelo his mentor for more than twenty years. He is mostly at home doing session work in a recording studio.

Blair is thankful for his wife Debbie's support and prayers as he continues to write, produce and arrange with his very dear friend Darrel Clegg for their ministry project called “Messengers”. They are both amazed at how God has put them together through circumstances that only God could have orchestrated.

Darrel Clegg

Darrel is a PK (preachers’ kid) who remembers singing in the back seat of the car and learning how to play the guitar and bass in 1968.

Music has been as much a part of his life as breathing and blessed to be a part in seven gospel singing groups. Attending bible college for Master of Theology then taking to the Harvest fields for the harvest is ripe (Matt 9-37). Starting three successful home churches, pastoring one and serving as Associate Pastor for the last two, as well as Daycare Director. Darrel enjoys the field of evangelism from street meetings to preaching and singing in camp meetings and churches across the United States and out of the country. Along with teaching personal evangelism in witnessing skills to the church "where the rubber meets the road" in our daily life.

His occupational background is in Kids Crusades, singing southern gospel, contemporary, and traditional music. Also creating gospel tracts and holding conferences for Laugh Your Way To A Better Marriage seminar. Darrel’s wife, Dottie supports our ministry in many ways behind the scenes.

Darrel’s other creative side is teaching multimedia art classes with each student having a “one of a kind piece of art or jewelry”. He also is a vendor in juried art shows across different states.

Darrel feels blessed teaming up with Blair White to create and bring forth our unique song ministry. We are reaching many with new lyrics and music being lead by the Holy Spirit and instrumentation that touches all age groups. I look forward to many years in the harvest field reaching souls for Christ.

Our Mission & Services

Singing for the enrichment of your faith

Why we came

This is more than a statement; it represents our ministry and purpose.  Our purpose is to present the gospel in song and scripture as encouragement, being vessels broken and spilled.  Audiences can expect a time of enrichment and laughter, high-energy singing, and encouraging and uplifting praise and worship songs.  Audiences will find themselves smiling, laughing, crying, encouraged and uplifted.

What to expect

Most of all, you will have the Gospel Message presented to them your church family in a powerful, compelling manner.  We are not stiff or starchy but we wait and pray for the direction and filling of the Holy Spirit to flow through us. To be broken and spilled out to read the room.

Our music reaches all ages and not with the same old thing but New written music not  "canned music" done by most, which gives us freedom to follow His direction. We would appreciate the opportunity to come and minister to your church family. Our engaging personalities and our friendship bond will be experienced by all.

 Support and why

We ask and appreciate a love offering that justifies our effort in ministry we come ready prepared and giving forth our all and as anything else today expenses are always there. We trust that you plan as well and give out of the  abundance of your heart.  Our  desire and ability to continue “Going forth” into the harvest field. Our hope is many will receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. And many have their Christian walk enriched with the joy of the Lord. And we are here for your and your staff and pray for a New since of direction and encouragement.
